Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 781.878.5759 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

The Warmington Family has been in the furniture business since 1917. Originating in Quincy, the guiding family spirit has been quality home furnishings and gifts at low overhead discount prices.

Frederick H. Warmington started in 1917 working for Henry L. Kincaide Furniture Company in Quincy, Massachusetts. He worked for them until the depression era, 1930's, and then left them to start his own furniture business with his brother in law, Albert E. Rendle, at 19 School Street in Quincy. In order to be successful they ran eight businesses: New Furniture, Used Furniture, Parlor Oil Heater, Converted coal stoves to oil stoves, Moving Business [they had their own truck], sold fireworks 4th of July season, sold toys and Christmas trees during Christmas season.

They named their business Granite Furniture Company and it was in business until the early 1950's. Howard F. Warmington started working at Granite Furniture Company as a young boy around Christmas time setting up toys. He worked after school until he went into the Navy during World War II. After his tour of duty he returned to his job at Granite Furniture Company in 1946 and stayed there until the store closed in the 1950's.

In 1962 with a mere $250 to his name, Howard Warmington and his wife Dawn officially established their business and opened the doors of their furniture store. Their oldest son Stephen worked after school at the store until he joined the Navy in 1967. Dawn worked until she passed away in 1978 and just recently, son Stephen passed away.

Over the last 50 years, but even more so the last 20, Warmington's has withstood up and down economies, big box and big name stores looming larger and larger and endured dozens of competitors who have come and most have gone. Today Warmington Furniture stands strong! How does Warmington's do it?

Warmington's does business like you would like a store to do business; authentic, sincere, and with a true desire to get you exactly what you want. Warmingtons now boasts about 12,000 square feet of showroom space with mostly American-made bedroom, dining room, and living room furniture. We also show over two dozen different mattress models including name brands like Sealy, Stearns & Foster, and Tempur-pedic. We have about another 10,000 square feet at a separate warehouse location in Abington that allows us the privilege of offering our clients free layaway for up to a year.

We aren't like the big-box stores. We are able to spend more time and attention on what our clients are actually looking for. And we can still service and deliver it for free, and dispose of the old item at no charge.

Being centrally located between Boston and Cape Cod, in Rockland, we are able to still offer free delivery from Boston to Cape Cod and most points west and east at no charge. Over the past 20 years, we have seen dozens and dozens of furniture stores come and go. We realize if you offer a great product with great service at a great price, everything else will just fall into place.

We invite all south shore residents to visit us and join the many who are so impressed with our quality, selection and pricing. See you soon!!

Policies & More Information

Here at Warmington Furniture we try to make our customer's shopping experience easy and fun with the most friendly, knowledgeable home furnishing personnel we can mentor.

We have an extensive training program that helps them to become a special Warmington Furniture employee. Most of Warmington Furniture personnel have been with us over 10 years.

We inspect and service the furniture before delivery and also offer Free Delivery, Free Set Up and Free Disposal of your replaced items. We feel that we are one of the few stores left that offer this free service.

We also have a Lifetime Warranty on all of our products that offers servicing and repair on most products even after the Manufacturer’s Warranty has run out. There may be a nominal charge for this service. This type of service is unheard of in the retail furniture industry; you only have to phone a few stores to find out that this service is not offered by many or not at all.

Warmington Furniture is not in a mall or on a main road; it is on Plain Street, Route 139 which is a bi-pass road for Rockland center. We are located in a residential area and our store building is an older building that has been remodeled and added to, which are very important features to control overhead cost. These lower overhead costs help to keep our prices very competitive and with our free services and good quality we should always be considered on your next furniture and mattress purchase.

Warmington Furniture has customer direct mail advertising so that customers are informed about current sales, special events, new products and contests.

We at Warmington Furniture consider our customers very important to us; they have been the backbone of our business for 51 years. We are never happy unless our customers are totally satisfied and happy with our products and services.

We think some of the main reasons that we have remained in business, while others have not faired as well, is that we have tried to be unique in our products, which are American Made as much as possible. We treat every customer equally well, finding the best products at the lowest prices possible, plus giving the ultimate service. If there is a problem we take care of it as soon as possible in as friendly a manner as possible.
